What does it look like to live a life of service to Christ and service to others? Jesus tells us in the Bible, that "the son of man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many" (Matthew 20:28). Many of us understand that it's God's heart for us to love and serve others, but sometimes it can be hard to know just how we should serve, and what this call should look like played out for us individually.
This November, we want to connect together as a diverse group of women, from all generations, to grow and encourage one another in the area of Kingdom service in our lives. Join us Saturday November 23rd from 9:30-11:30am for a time of delicious coffee and treats, fellowship, encouragement, and some sharing from Gloria Morneau on the work she does to serve others overseas and how this ministry has affected her life and walk with the Lord.
We are also excited to be including a special time during the morning to create some Christmas gift bags to be handed out to the clients/ mothers from The Victoria Pregnancy Centre's "Motherhood Unplugged" program.
In preparation for creating these gift bags, we would love you you to begin collecting some items you can bring to our Saturday gathering to help fill out these gift bags. Here are some suggested items to bring:
Small scented candles
Tea (in wrappers)
